Why do you women let your friends influence you so much?

my wife and i are on the brink of divorce after a 20 year marriage her idea not mine!! and no i am not cheating nor do i want too. i work everyday and take care of the family and she doesnt have to work even though i did put her through nursing school! one of her school chums recently got a divorce(her third) now everything i do is crap and she talks of ending our marriage all the time. why does it seem that women listen far more to their friends than men do?? one of my buddies summed it up like this?? he said that her friend was the venom that was poisioning our marriage. what do you all think???????
