First arabs blow up our tallest building, then an arab country builds the tallest building, coincidence?

Are these tall buildings just a symbol of power, prosperity, and commerce, or are they tools of War?

What is the DEP/DTP correspondence course and what can it do for me?

I noticed on page 23 in a book that I received when I enlisted that I have the opportunity to take a 50 hour online course to earn points toward promotion once in the army but it is to be completed before basic. Any one with personal experience on this?

Would you like to see Palestine, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all be one country?

You need to read your early 20th Century history on the region. If you are suggesting that strong government and unity existed in the region prior to this time, that simply is not the case.

Navy SAR vs USCG rescue swimmer?

I want as much info on rescue swimmers as possible. My recruiter told me that when I'm not out on a mission I would be in the gym working out. He made it sound like a dream job but the more I research the more I realize it is kind of lame. It won't be as much action as I thought. How many rescue missions do you go on a month? What is more of an intense training between the two? Explain your daily ruitine? I also want some combat training along with parachute training... should I forget rescue swimmer all together? Join SARC or USAF PJ? I just don't want to fail out and end up mopping floors on a ship for 4 years. I want action.

If the universe was infinite, would the sky not be completely illuminated with light?

No. This was actually an important argument thought up several hundred years ago to demonstrate that the Universe is necessarily finite in either age or size (or both). We now know that the Universe is finite in age (it is about 13.7 billion years old), and moreover is constantly expanding in such a way that, even when its age becomes infinite, the sky will still be black. We are not yet sure whether it is finite in size, although if it is, its minimum size is still very, very big.
