I DESPERATELY need help with writing the third affirmative argument in a debate!!!!?

That is a good argument. However, the word "democracy" comes from the Greek word "dēmokratía" meaning "popular government" so democracy does not necessarily mean freedom of speech, in my opinion. I would go along the lines of "how can we live in a free nation, where our first constitutional amendment specifically mandates freedom of speech and allow the continuance of censorship?" On that, I would just focus on how the first amendment has been frequently stepped on for years, and while American's should choose to appropriately censor themselves, those who do not are within their constitutional rights.
